Citizen TV news anchor Lillian Muli is one of the most interesting of media personalities in Kenya. The mother of two is one of the veterans who has seen the TV industry morph from one that only had 2 stations into one with so many stations that one can’t keep count.
While her success in the work-place is laudable and impressive, her personal life has been full of ups and downs, something that she has been candid about sharing.
Lillian was recently asked about the worst pick-up lines that she had ever encountered but revealed something that will most likely raise some eyebrows.
The TV anchor explained that she had was the one who would pursue men and as such couldn’t remember any puck-up line that she had gotten. “The worst pickup line ushawai pata kwa msee ni gani?” the local presenter asked.
“Honestly, I can’t answer that because mimi huwa sikatiwi, mimi ndio the other way round,” responded Lillian Muli.
Ms. Muli who has been blessed with two sons from two different fathers explained that her worst regret was in taking alcohol, then not been able to control her temper afterwards.
“What I have ever regretted kama nimekunywa drink ya wazee, maybe just losing my temper kiasi ambacho hakistahili,” said Ms Muli.
Lillian is known to be impulsive and once went all out in castigating her second baby daddy, Jared Nevaton. In a surprise move in late 2018, the TV anchor took to social media to castigate the Shabana FC boss as a ‘community’ husband. She wrote;
“I’m officially single and will now focus on raising my boys. As public figures, we meet all sorts of people and most just want trophies whether you are well known or not be very careful who you allow into your life don’t go giving your heart to everyone.
“Sociopaths will keep you entangled in their web of lies and you will be one of their many victims. When you actually believe someone is true to you only to find out they are community husbands you are safer stepping aside.
She would later clarify her standpoint in early 2019 saying that she had re-united with Jared.
