A man arrested in the brutal killing of prison warder Pauline Wangari met her on Facebook.
According to police reports, the man identified as Ochieng met Wangari on Facebook and had visited her for the first time in Murang’a the day she was found murdered.
The reports further allege that after s3x, the two quarreled as a furious Wangari shouted at him.
She revealed to him that she was a police officer and the suspect became violent, however the cause of their fight has not been revealed.
Three suspects were arraigned in court on Friday morning, and will now be detained until the end of May as police investigate the murder.
The three suspects Joseph Otieno Ochieng, Rogers Namukolo and Mary Amollo were arrested on Thursday on their way to Kisumu according to Criminal investigations officer Phoebe Okomo.
They are accused of murdering Pauline Wangari, who was found with several stab wounds in her house in Kiharu estate, Murang’a town on Wednesday.
