TID

‘People think I was born a star but I’m a human being’ TID opens up on battle with drugs

Legendary Tanzanian hit-maker TID is trying to make a comeback after he went on a hiatus when he was just at the peak of his career.

TID has for the longest time been accused of using hard drugs back when he was a big deal.

His songs made us at a young age think of marriage plans.

Now that times have changed, he has definitely been pushed off by the likes of Diamond, Ali Kiba and the entire Wasafi team who have taken over East Africa. Tanzania has become a very competitive country when it comes to music.

T.I.D is looking to make a comeback after drugs took a toll on of his life and career. T.I.D is now a reformed drug addict and he wants to take music and make it his new addiction just like before.

Talking to MillardAyo.Com the Nyota Yangu hitmaker said he is done with drugs and not looking back.

I’VE BEEN THROUGH UPS AND DOWN AND AT THE END OF THE DAY I GO BACK TO THE FOCUS.

The focus here being his music that created a platform for him to be known to many and what put bread on his table.

Tanzanian TID

I WILL NOT GO BACK TO DRUGS AGAIN BECAUSE IT HAS COST ME alot. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT, PEOPLE THINK I WAS BORN A sTAR BUT i Am HUMAN BEING I DESERVE HAPPINESS. I NEED TO SOCIALIZE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THOSE STUFF BECAUSE ITS Bad. THE SOCIETY DOESN’T LIKE IT.

We loved TID’s music and we do hope he will make a comeback and give us the romantic type of music he gave us back then.
