Njugush and Celestine Ndinda aka Wakavinye share a lot about their lives on social media, where they act out comedic skits that thrill many Kenyans.
Although the couple is at most times in lockstep, there are some issues that popped up when they were recently interviewed bu Dr. Ofweneke.
The couple who have been together for a solid 3 years has grown in leaps and bounds financially, fame and also have been blessed with a baby boy.
One thing that hasn’t changed unfortunately is Njugush’s body size which is still stick-thin which has led to assumptions that his wife doesn’t cook for him.
But none of that is true according to Wakavinye. In fact, she cooks, but Njugush is the one who fails to eat.
This guy doesn´t grow fat. Everywhere we go people are like, you don´t cook for your husband? But this guy does not eat. I cook, he doesn´t eat. He has not appetite. You see, everyone blames me.
To counter his lack of appetite, the funny man resorted to visiting the gym.
I went to the gym and added 5 kgs. My wife was going to the gym before I joined her. I realized it’s what you feel in the inside, you start having an appetite.
Njugush’s struggle to gain weight might be because he is an Ectomorph, which is one of the 3 body types.
An ectomorph tends to be long limbed and not particularly muscular. You can be “skinny fat,” meaning you’re a relatively low weight and/or small size yet still have high body fat.
Ectomorphs are the body type that is the most resistant to weight gain because of a fast metabolism. In other words, ectomorphs are often able to overeat while gaining little or even no weight.
People with this body type have little observable body fat, are only lightly muscled, and have a small frame (and joints).
