Singer, David Mathenge popularly known as Nameless, has been in a celebratory mood for the better part of the week after his darling daughter, Tumiso emerged victorious in an Essay writing competition.
Tumiso Mathenge who was awarded a trophy and a ksh,20,000 cash prize, won the competition which was on combating desertification that was sponsored by the Environment ministry and Netfund.
Her win came after her mummy, Wahu Kagwi won a groove award for the music video of the year for her gospel song, Nifanane nawe.
This was followed by Nyakio (His last born) great school presentation using recycled material.
For all this, Nameless took to his social media to announce that as a proud husband and dad he offered to treat his family and they all settled for a holiday in Mombasa.
I am a very proud Dad right now 😊😊. Tumiso just won third prize for her artistic entry on environmental conservation… She received a trophy and a ka 20K Bana!! So now that my gals have been winning this past few weeks, from mama watoto’s groove award win, to Nyakio’s great school presentation using recycled material (Hiyo time alinitupa under the bus) and now Tumiso great environmental win, nimewauliza wanataka tufanye nini kucelebrate these wins, wamesema niwapeleke Mombasa holiday. In Mombasa the family of four was not playing and took every chance to soak up the coastal sun at the beach.
