A grieving mother has shared a final photo of her daughter and a sad note following confirmation from DNA test results that her 15-year-old daughter died in the Moi Girls School fire tragedy.
The mothers heartbreaking question of her daughters whereabouts touched social media users, who reached out to her with thoughts and prayers.
When news broke that Moi Girls School Nairobi was on fire, the mother made her way to the school fearing for the safety and wellbeing of her daughter.
Clara Otieno in an open message described the heart ache of asking for the whereabout of her daughter Natalie Nanga, but no one had any information.
She had shared this:
This is my little girl..my daughter 15years old. A student at Moi Girls Nairobi. We are looking for her, anyone with any information .Kindly pass it on. I am her mother only a mother can understand the pain and anguish am going through. I am appealing to anyone out there. Also, say a prayer. God you are sitting on the Throne and you reign.
She later gave her DNA sample on September 5, at the Chiromo Mortuary after medical experts asked parents to wait for 14 days before test results could be given to confirm if their daughters were among the victims of the arson attack.
She shared her daughters pictures on social media, asking people for prayers upon getting the results from the postmortem.
