Mike Sonko’s daughter, Saumu Mbuvi, is the first-born in a family of three daughters and an adopted brother Satrin Osinya.
The flamboyant lass does not hold back when it comes to spending money on luxurious items like designer shoes and clothes, but amidst the glitz and glamor she still remains humble.
Away from being a politician’s daughter, Saumu seems to be enthusiastic about politics and has followed in her father’s footsteps, never shying away from airing her opinion on political issues in Kenya.
She was the Vice-President of the Students Union at her former school Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) Karen campus.
Saumu has now completed her university studies at JKUAT, where she was studying Mass Communication and will be among those graduating today, June 30th, at the institutions 27th graduation ceremony but the highlight of the day will be her post-graduation party.
Saumu Mbuvi will have her graduation bash at their Mua Hills home, in Machakos, which will be graced by top public figures and celebs in the country, and it’s clear that Sonko did not spare any money for his daughter’s big day.
The list of those musicians set to perform later today is what has got many surprised. The party that starts at 4.30pm, will be a two part entertainment event with the first set of musicians being gospel artists performing from 4.00 pm to 10 pm.
The second phase of the celebrations will have the secular artists entertain the guests, including Africa’s biggest Bongo artist, Alikiba and Sauti Sol among others.
Check out the invites below, with all the artists who will be performing. Congratulations to Saumu Mbuvi.
