Millicent Omanga has done something her younger sister Angela that she will most likely remember in the future. And what could that be?
Millicent has bought her sibling a brand spanking new car as her graduation present! She posted the image on her Facebook page. Her caption read;
As I present my gift to you for the hard work and inspiring efforts you put in university, it is my wish and prayer that you will continue with the same high spirit as you start the journey of practicing your profession. It was such a nice blessed day to celebrate your graduation. Safari ndio imeanza sasa itabidi ujikaze zaidi. Once again Congratulations Angela.
Angela graduated with a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management(the option of transport and logistics) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
So the gifting of the Nissan March while a bit much for some might be a fitting gift for Millicent’s sister. Expensive graduation presents are becoming the norm rather than the rarity in our political landscape.
National Council of Persons with Disability (NCPD) chairman, David Ole Sankok melted Kenyans hearts on January 20 last year, after he gifted his daughter with a car.
Sankok bought a brand new car for his 19-year -old daughter for her stellar performance in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
Also, when Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi graduated in 2016, she was given numerous cheques by guests who attended her party.
There were reports that some of the guests gave her cheques ranging anywhere between the Ksh. 250,000-Ksh. 1 million mark!
