At 19, I interrupted the ra*e of a quadriplegic patient by staff member. I wheeled her outta there & reported. Told not to call police as it would be ‘handled’. I called the cops + was fired on spot. I testified in court against him. Not sorry. She was mute. I wasn’t.
At a Christmas party, a manager to me told me he couldn’t talk to me because he couldn’t stop looking my “tits”. I told him to cop on. I was told at my PR not to be rude to management. When I told them what happened he told me to maybe think about what tops I wear on nights out.
Telling a customer what time we closed at. The company owner felt this was classified information that could be used for a robbery. I wish I was making this up.
I got reported for having aggressive eyebrows by the nurse whose patient I was reviewing at 5am. Apparently it was a perfectly lovely review, but I was hard to take seriously as a doctor.
Solving a big problem at work, but I didn’t tell my boss how I came up with the solution. When he presented to his bosses, he felt embarrassed he could not answer how HE came up with the idea and HAD TO give up the credit
A man I worked with screamed & threw his pen across the office because I’d sent him five emails in one day, which he said was too many, & then came to give me a lecture on email etiquette & flooding people’s inboxes (all of my emails were replies to emails he’d sent me that day)
