Recently, a Nigerian man, Babajide Israel, set a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest duration of twerking.

The GWR confirmed this achievement on its official website, stating that Babajide accomplished this feat by twerking for three hours and 30 minutes in Lagos.

According to GWR, Babajide’s motivation for attempting this record was personal, as he aimed to step out of his comfort zone and raise awareness for individuals worldwide who are struggling with depression.

Babajide’s message is that no record is unattainable, regardless of its magnitude. He hopes to demonstrate that any achievement is within reach, no matter how significant or unique.

Besides him, there are others who have also grabbed the opportunity of winning.

Seven days ago, a Nigerian man, Oside Oluwole, shattered the world record with his three-day gaming marathon.

Oside performed the longest video game marathon playing a soccer game, registering a time of 75 hours.

Oside mentioned that although the attempt was a success, its purpose of raising $1,538 (£1185) for a local hospital in his community was not met.
