Titus Maina's eulogy, the man who died after drowning at Juja Dam has left many shocked. For a man who has trended in the news for more than a week, the eulogy looks like a bad joke.

Maina was a businessman eking out a living selling engineering machinery.

His eulogy was summarized in a few paragraphs, maybe the family wanted to get rid of the shame their son's death brought and the media scrutiny. The eulogy left out his two wives and kids to the shock of many.

Maina and his 'girlfriend' who has since been identified as Fridah Warau Kamuyu were making merry inside their car which they had parked near the dam before the incident occurred.

Revelers have been thronging the area for "park and chill" activities while indulging in merry-making.

According to witnesses, an argument broke out between the two and the man started the car and reversed into the dam.

The businessman had allegedly told he had gone for a business meeting before his demise.

Maina's wife Margaret Kiiru, said the female who died alongside her husband might just be a friend, adding that the nature of her husband's job allowed him to have many friends.

On a fateful day, she claims that her husband left home for work in the morning, and later called at around 7 pm on Monday, saying he was in a business meeting in Juja.

It was the last time she spoke to him.

“My husband left home for work on Monday morning, and we spoke in the evening around 7 pm. He said he was in Juja for a business meeting, I asked what he would want for dinner and that was the last time we spoke,” she said.

According to Kiiru, after their last conversation, Maina's phone went off and none of her messages were replied to.
