Black Panther Wakanda Forever is scheduled to hit theaters July 8, 2022.
The actress was hurt Wednesday while filming a stunt on the set of the upcoming Marvel sequel, The extent of her injuries are not known it is said she was injured while filming a sequence with a stunt rig. The filming schedule will go on.
“Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon,” a spokesperson for Marvel said Wednesday.
Wright is one of former actors returning for the sequel, reprising her role as T’Challa’s brilliant sister, Shuri.
Others are Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett, with Ryan Coogler returning as director.
