Why Stevo Simple Boy Changed His Hairstyle

Artist Stevo Simple Boy has once again defended his new look, which includes changes in clothing and hairstyle.

Speaking with Obinna TV, Simple Boy stated that he has a big vision and is aiming for something specific with his new creative approach to fashion, hairstyle, and even unique phrases.

The artist explained that by changing his clothes, hair, and introducing new phrases, he aims to be like Diamond, but not just of East Africa, rather the Diamond of the entire African continent.

"As an artist, your appearance must be different. You know, people might be asking why Stevo Simple Boy decided to change his clothes, hair, and even come up with new phrases. It’s because I also want to go international. I am the Diamond of Africa. Diamond is the Lion of Tanzania, but I am the Lion of Africa," Stevo Simple Boy elaborated.

Recently, the artist revealed that he is expecting to travel for a performance tour in Saudi Arabia for the first time in his life.

He said that he won the opportunity thanks to his new phrase – "Mefi mefi muskla," explaining that it’s an Arabic phrase meaning ‘no worries’.

"So, 'mefi mefi muskla' is Arabic. When I said that, you know what happened? I just got lucky. Next month, I’m going to Saudi Arabia just for saying ‘mefi mefi muskla’. On September 23, I’ll be performing in Riyadh. 'Mefi mefi muskla' means no worries, everything is fine," Stevo further explained.
