Remcy Don, a Kenyan who identifies himself as the 'twin' of Canadian superstar Jason Derulo, has offered advice to fellow Kenyans who claim to resemble other celebrities.

Through his Instagram story, Remcy Don urged Kenyans who feel they bear a resemblance to celebrities, whether from Kenya, Africa, or elsewhere, to first ensure that the similarity is genuine and not just superficial.

He also advised that once you realize you resemble a major celebrity, you should approach the matter with a careful and authentic strategy, rather than expecting the celebrity to automatically help you.

"My fellow Kenyans, it's important to approach the issue of resembling a certain celebrity with genuine and respectful attention. If you claim to look like a celebrity, make sure you have visible traits and achievements that align with their status. It's not just about external appearance but also about embodying the lifestyle of that star," Don shared.

"Claiming to resemble a certain celebrity when you have no matching success will completely undermine your claim and make the rest of us look like a joke. Let's aim to be true representatives of the celebrities we admire and show respect to them," Don added.

His remarks come just hours after Kenyans criticized a young man who claims to resemble MP Phelix Jalang’o, accusing the lawmaker of not helping him despite their resemblance.

Kenyans rebuked him for those statements, arguing that looking like a famous person is not a valid reason to demand assistance from them directly.
