Janet Nekesa, the mother of Isaac Otesa Wekesa, was a woman who was laughed at, mocked, and scorned before giving birth to her tall son, who has recently gained significant fame.

Isaac recently gained attention on social media following claims that he resembles Bradley Marongo, also known as Gen-Z Goliath, who also became famous for his remarkable height.

In a recent interview with an online journalist, Janet revealed that she struggled greatly to conceive a child during the first five years of her marriage before Isaac was born.

“I was blessed with Isaac as my first child. I was overjoyed and praised God because it’s not easy to achieve something like that. It was just a miracle, as if God wanted to show that He is the Lord,” Janet recounted in an interview with Raipenda Evans.

She continued, “In my marriage, after I got married, I spent nearly five years without having a child. I was scorned, I was laughed at, but I relied on God. After five years, God, being who He is, blessed me, and I found out I was pregnant.”

She said she gave birth to her child at home and later took him to the clinic for checkups.

“When he was born, he weighed five kilograms, even the people in the homestead were surprised, even my mother-in-law was amazed. It was just a miracle,” she said.

Janet expressed her happiness at giving birth to her son, stating that she raised him well without many problems.

She mentioned that Isaac was a healthy child and never got sick until he was thirteen years old when he had a mild case of malaria.

“I raised him right here at home in Bungoma. When you look at Isaac, it’s clear that God wanted to make an extraordinary statement. He grew to be tall, and his body became large. My friends who visited would ask me what I was feeding the child. I just said it was God’s work,” she said.

Isaac's mother said she is pleased with her son's growth, noting that he has matured, married, and even blessed her with three grandchildren.
