Reactions as Kware murder suspect escapes

Collins Jumaisi, the prime suspect in the Kware murder case, has escaped from the Gigiri Police Station.

Jumaisi was one of 13 suspects who managed to break free from the facility. The other escapees were all Eritrean nationals.

The jailbreak occurred early Tuesday morning, and the escape was discovered by police when they were serving the suspects their morning tea. The suspects had cut through security wires and scaled the perimeter wall to flee.

DCI Director Mohamed Amin confirmed the breakout and announced that a new manhunt is underway to recapture Jumaisi.
