Esther Musila, wife and manager of Guardian Angel, has revealed why the 7Heaven label has remained without any signed artists nearly a year after its launch.

Speaking to reporters after a gospel event at Sankara Hotel, Musila disclosed that initially, they had plans to sign several gospel artists, but at some point, they decided to change their approach.

"7Heaven was launched in October last year, and we haven't even reached a full year. Initially, our goal was to sign artists, but we reached a point where we decided that no, we don't want to hold anyone back; we want to give everyone the freedom to do whatever they want," she said.

"But if you want to work with us, Guardian has the ability to guide you, but if you feel that you don't need his guidance, that's okay too. That's why we don't want to sign artists; we just support them because Guardian is in the music business, and that's how he provides his support," Musila added.

She mentioned that 7Heaven cannot currently be described as a commercial studio where anyone can come in, pay to record a song, and then leave; instead, they choose who they want to work with.

Guardian Angel held his first event, organized with his wife, named Gospo 1, at the Sankara Hotel on Saturday night.
