Kenyan rap icon Khaligraph Jones will have a unique and rare opportunity to join other international artists at a concert aimed at promoting peace and stability in Haiti.

These details were revealed by the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Korir Sing’oei, through his official X platform account.

PS Sing’oei shared a photo welcoming Khaligraph Jones to his office and disclosed that he would be among the artists performing at the peace concert under the banner #Harmony4Haiti.

The concert will also highlight the commendable efforts of Kenyan police officers who joined their counterparts in Haiti a few weeks ago in efforts to bring peace to the Caribbean nation.

"Art and Culture play vital roles in uniting our community and are key pillars of cohesion and resilience. I met with OG @KHALIGRAPH to discuss the upcoming #Harmony4Haiti concert, which aims to acknowledge and appreciate the excellent work of the Kenyan Police Service in the Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission in Haiti, which has registered impressive results since its deployment," PS Sing’oei said.

PS Sing’oei revealed that Khaligraph Jones would perform alongside artists from Caribbean countries, Romania, and Kenya, without giving further details about the venue and exact date of the concert.

"The concert will feature creatives from Kenya, Haiti, Romania, and other Caribbean countries, providing a platform for historical and cultural exchange," Sing’oei added.

Kenya aims to deploy around 2,500 police officers to Haiti, and already two groups of over 500 officers have arrived in Haiti and are continuing operations to restore peace in the streets of the capital, Port-au-Prince.
