Singer Phy shares opens up on losing her dad & welcoming her daughter almost at the same time

Talented Kenyans singer Phy has opened up on losing her dad a few hours after welcoming her daughter into this world.

According to Phy, this happened about a month ago and it was a trying moment for her and family.

In her post, the Taboo hit-maker noted that she misses her dad who was her best friend.

“Exactly a month ago I had my beautiful daughter come into the world, a few hours later I lost my dad. It has been a time lived in extremes. Grief is weird, I now get it when people struggle to describe it. I miss my dad terribly, he was my absolute best friend,” Phy said.

She added; “On the other hand, a life has been handed to my family for us to steward, an added blessing with no sorrow. A lot melts away when I look at her precious face, it's an outburst of indescribable love.

“I have allowed myself to feel through it all. In the enmeshment that's joy and grief, I have felt God's gentleness, giving me strength and hope each day. Like all seasons, this too shall pass ❤️‍🩹. Psalms 62:5 "Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in Him." Phy added.
