Hassan Ali Joho - My net worth is Sh2.3 billion

CS nominee for Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs, Hassan Ali Joho, has revealed that his net worth is Sh2 billion.

Joho explained that his wealth primarily comes from both developed and undeveloped properties. This includes his homes in Mombasa, Vipingo, Malindi, and Nairobi, as well as shares in various property holdings and family businesses, along with valuables and cash in the bank.

He emphasized that this wealth reflects his personal assets and not those of his family.

Joho made these disclosures during his vetting before the National Assembly Committee on Appointments.

Previously, Joho served as the Kisauni MP for five years and as Governor for ten years. He is also the founder and director of Prima Pest and Bins Ltd, the first garbage collection company in Mombasa, as well as the founder of M-Tech Kenya and East Africa Terminals.
