Kenyan dancehall star KRG the Don is out here throwing shade at the Gen Z movement over their Anti-government protests.

In a series of posts via his socials, KRG condemned the demos saying ‘the Gen Z movement thinks running government is like running a kiosk,”.

He argues that Gen Zs should give the government time to work and also allow business people to make a living.

"Most of the Gen Z doesn’t even know where their fathers live and they are here advising someone who has been in the government since he was in his 30s.

"Guys you need to style up and know they are people who do business in the city and its environs they don't care who is doing what they just wanna do business coz they have wages and bills to pay,” KRG stated.

He went on to state that those who think can run the government better should prepare for 2027 instead of going to the streets now.

“If you think you can run the government better let's link up in 2027 and don't forget to vie!! Respecting people who are older than you is very important sometimes even if they are wrong find a better way to address them but violence and abusive words won't solve our problems as a country that's blackmailing the government," he added.

At the same time, KRG the Don has announced that he will be taking a break from music to fully focus on running his business.

Taking to his socials,

"I’m taking a long break from the entertainment business!!! I wanna put my energy and time in other responsibilities and business activities… to all my fans I will miss you but ntakua tu within….." he said.

"Niko na kazi mob ya kufanya I need to concentrate on much more important businesses for now. Mziki nitarudi nikifikisha I billion dollars kwa account. My kids need advanced education as well so mpaka nipange life mapema."
