The reappointment of six cabinet secretaries from the previous administration has sparked frustration among Gen Z, who have been demanding good governance free from corrupt leaders.

President Ruto's refusal to meet all their demands led them to vow to occupy JKIA today and disrupt all activities to paralyze the economy until their grievances are addressed.

Several celebrities have created humorous skits about the planned protests at JKIA. Terence Creative, for instance, made a skit featuring him in an airplane, preaching to passengers and asking for offerings and tithes as they journeyed to an unknown destination.

TikToker Mbote Njogu also joined in with a video in which he joked that if things went well, he might be having dinner in Washington, USA.

“Kesho mambo ikienda poa, naeza kula supper huko Washington. Unasema unakuanga Washington, nyinyi nihesabuni supper. Hakuwezi kosa Gen Z pilot hapo, nitakuja na ya kwanza yenye itaguruma,” Mbote said.

He also added, “Guys, ati mumesema tunaenda nini JKIA? Sababu sijajua hata mimi, JKIA imekujia wapi kwa protests? I didn’t see that coming. Ebu tuelimisheni wenye wanasema twende.”

Comedian Mca Tricky entertained fans with a video claiming that his experience with aviator planes is enough to make him a real pilot.

“Wewe, nikuulize, zile aviator zote nimekuwa nikicheza kila siku asubuhi, saa sita aviator, what do you take me for? I have enough experience—five years’ experience,” he said.
