The pastor of Salvation Healing Ministry, Victor Kanyari, has broken his silence following the death of his fellow pastor and founder of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), Bishop Allan Kiuna.

Kiuna passed away early Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.

Kanyari, who received the news while in Nakuru, made a video offering condolences to Kiuna's family, led by his wife, Kathy Kiuna, as well as the entire JCC community.

Kanyari also warned social media users against being quick to make negative remarks about God's servants after they pass away.

"I am told Pastor Allan Kiuna is no longer with us. Kiuna passed away today due to cancer. I sympathise with his family. May God comfort them," Kanyari said.

The controversial pastor went on to claim that if it had been him who died, many would have taken to social media to associate his death with how he lived.

"And people should stop speaking ill of others. People talk badly even about someone who has died. I know if it were me who died today, everyone would say, 'He died because of how he sinned.' I know if I had died, people would talk," Kanyari said.

Following Bishop Kiuna's death, his family requested privacy as they mourn their loved one.
