List of counties that will go without power today, Tuesday

Kenya Power has notified Kenyans in various parts of three select counties to brace for hours without electricity on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 to allow for network maintenance.

In a notice issued Monday evening, the utility company said the scheduled power supply interruption will affect customers in parts of Kiambu, Busia and Uasin Gishu County.

“Please be advised, the following areas will be undergoing planned maintenance tomorrow (02.07.2024),” the notice read.

The company said the interruption will be effected between 9:00 am and 5 pm in mentioned areas.

KIAMBU COUNTY

AREA: JUJA GACHORORO

TIME: 9.00 A.M. - 5.00 P.M.

Juja Mungetho, Juja Murimaini, Kuraiha Est, Bravers, Kiaora Est, Mtaro Est, Kariki Est, Nchengo Coffee Farm, Azania Farm, Kijito Est, Bob Harries & adjacent customers.

BUSIA COUNTY

AREA: BUTULA, BUMUTIRU

TIME: 9.00 A.M. - 5.00 A.M.

Butula, Bumutiru, Murumba, Khunyangu Hosp, Oloo Mkt, Benga University, Bar Ober, Tingolo, Jera, Masende Bale & adjacent customers.

UASIN GISHU COUNTY

AREA: KIPKORGOT, CARBACID

TIME: 10.00 A.M. - 5.00 P.M.

Kipkorgot, RCEA Bible College, Carbacid, Naiberi Center, Plateau Hosp, Kipsinende Farm & adjacent customers.
