Comedian Fred Omondi laid to rest in an emotional ceremony in Siaya

Comedian Fred Omondi was laid to rest at his family's home in Sega, Siaya County on Saturday.

He died on June 15th 2024 after a grisly road accident.

His burial was attended by Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Siaya Governor James Orengo, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi, Mp Jalang'o, MP Salasya, MP Babu Owino among others.

The comedy industry was also well represented as creatives came in big numbers, among those present were 2mbili, YY, Amberay, Ken Rapudo, Dufla, MC Jessy, Captain Otos, Jacky Vike, Sandra Dacah, Gabu (P-Unit), Prince Indah, Oga Obinna among many others.

Fred leaves behind a brother (Eric Omondi) and a sister (Irene Adhiambo).
