Prezzo speaks out after fainting on the Red Carpet at Bahati’s event

Legendary Kenyan rapper Prezzo has broken his silence after fainting on the Red carpet during the launch of Bahati’s new reality TV show “The Bahati’s Empire”.

In a statement, Prezzo assured his fans that he is doing well despite the unfortunate incident.

He attributed the incident to fatigue stating that he has been overworking himself lately.

He thanked his fans for checking up on him.

 “Contrary to the news going around on social media about my health and red carpet incident last night, I’d like to let everyone know that I am well and kumbukeni sio rahisi kuwa Rais 😉(Been overworking myself hence the fatigue). I thank you all for ur calls, well wishes & concern," Prezzo said. 

Prezzo went on to state that he will be taking a break from his busy schedule to recover fully and spend time with his family.

He also expressed his gratitude towards DP Rigathi Gachagua who confessed that he is a big fan of his music.

“For now I just want to take some time out nitulie na familia. Congrats to Bahati Empire for the good job. Last but not least a big thank you to His Excellency Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for the Accolades & for supporting an industry that we created with blood, sweat & tears. The future is bright for the industry as a whole. Blessed weekend & kama kawa….Nawapenda Wo! Prezz,” Prezzo said.

On Thursday, Prezzo fainted during an interview with online content creators. He was quickly assisted by people who were close to him and within a few minutes he was okay.

He took some rest before he joined other celebrities at the launch of Bahati’s show ‘The Bahati Empire’.

He was even recognized by DP Rigathi aka Riggy as a pioneer in the Kenyan music industry.
