List of counties that will go without power today, Sunday

Kenya Power has listed areas in three counties scheduled for power interruption on Sunday, June 2nd 2024.

A public notice on Saturday evening said the interruptions would be effected for eight hours between 9am and 5pm.

The planned power interruptions are done periodically to facilitate system maintenance.

The three counties are Nairobi, Uasin Gishu and Kakamega.

Nairobi

Areas to be affected include Kyangombe, Syokimau, SGR, Part of Mombasa Road and Inland Container Depot.

Inland Container Deport (ICD), Kyang'ombe, Heavy Engineering, Tile & Carpet, Kings, Atlantis Business Park, Walstreet Business Park, Powergen Renewable Energy, Vimit Converters, Sanden Intercool (K), Enyon Ltd, Hasbah Kenya, Pilitrade Centre.

Other areas are Posh Autobody, Jumbo Chem, Alpha Centre, Ramtons, Tuskys HQtrs, Steel Makers, Manchester Outfitters, Rea, Nice & Lovely, Prime Cartons, Ocean Group, Kenbro, Saj Ceramics, Patmos, Laneeb Plastics, Chemical and Solvent, Nyoro Construction, Kenbelt, KenGen Godown, Label Converters and adjacent customers.

Uasin Gishu

Sokomoko, Muyuki, Mukuyu, Mkuyonyi Pri Sch, Maragusi, Makutano Mkt, Evona, Mathara Dispensary Pri Sch, Lumama Sec Sch, Ivona Centre, Primary and adjacent customers.

Kakamega

Mumias Town, Shibale, Mwitoti, Shianda Mkt, Lubino, St. Peter Boys, Mumias Hospital, Ekero, St. Mary Hospital, Mumias Sugar & adjacent customers.
