Former Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has penned a congratulatory message to his son Kigen Moi, and his wife, Rebecca Chepchumba as they walked down the aisle.
Taking to his socials, Moi and his wife Zahra wished their son all the best as he officially joined the marriage institution.
“My wife, Zahra Moi, and I extend our warmest wishes to our son, Kigen Moi, and his wife, Rebecca Chepchumba, as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.
"The responsibilities that come with marriage, with its highs and lows, are the sparks that continuously kindle your affection and make you cherish each other. May the Almighty God bless your union abundantly,” read a message from Gideon Moi to his son.
Kigen’s white wedding was held in at a church in Rome, Italy. Rebecca is seen donning a flowing white wedding dress while holding a bouquet of flowers.
The white wedding comes nearly a year after Kigen wedded wife Rebecca Chepchumba at a private ceremony in Kericho county on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
In one of the photos, Kigen and Rebecca are seen in a group photo with their parents from both sides.
Gideon appears in another photo with the couple outside the church with his wife Zahra Moi by his side.
Reports indicate that Bishop Dominic Kimengich of Eldoret Diocese officiated the ceremony alongside Fr Hector Francheschi of Italy.
