Award-winning Comedian Eric Omondi has settled the Sh126,000 debt that he owed Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria.

A video that has gone viral shows Erick Omondi carefully counting and handing over the money to Moses Kuria.

Since the two had clashed previously over Eric’s critics of Kuria.

The feud between the two came up when Eric publicly criticized Kuria despite him funding his trip to the US.

So in return, he had to publicly reveal that he had paid Kuria what he owed him to avoid any kind of embarrassment again.

The video was silent, but it featured a soundtrack by Gospel Fathers, “Sina Deni.”

In the video’s caption, Eric confirmed that he had refunded Kuria all the money.

“Today, I have officially refunded Mheshimiwa all the money he used to pay for my trip to the USA. Hio ingine nimemtumia na @officialpaysii Malipo ni hapa hapa Duniani,” he said.

The video received different reactions as some said Eric is clout chasing, to drive traffic to his socials as he usually does.

Eric has been popularly known for his dramatic lifestyle which makes people question every act that he does even when he is genuinely doing it.

The Sisi kwa Sisi initiative has also raised eyebrows since people are questioning whether it is genuine or it is just a strategy to get on the ballot in the 2027 elections.

On his part, Omondi claims he is doing it out of kindness and compassion.

“I think it is better to get it done and dusted @ericomondi he has nothing on you. He can never lay a claim to your success ever,” a netizen said.
