President Ruto, Butita meet Steve Harvey at Tyler Perry Studios

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, President William Ruto, first lady mama Rachel Ruto, and a section of his kids meet American TV host Steve Havi during their official visit to Tyler Perry studios.

The President visited the Tyler Perry Studios together with his Kenyan delegation for a special luncheon with stakeholders in the Hollywood industry.  The luncheon is aimed at discussing areas of collaboration between the Kenyan creative Industry and Hollywood.

The Head of State is also expected to visit Spelman College Coca-Cola, Vivo’s Inaugural store and later on have a meeting with Mayor Andre Dickens of Atlanta and the Atlanta CEO’s Council. 

This is all in his Tuesday schedule. On Wednesday, he will have a meeting at Capitol Hill and later on meet US Legislators.

President Ruto landed at the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport as he commences his visit to Atlanta, Georgia on Monday.

The President arrived at 9:45 am on May 20 accompanied by First Lady Rachel Ruto.

Ruto alighted at the airport as his motorcade and secret service rushed to usher him in the Signature building.

Over 50 chase cars were lined up at the airport ready to receive the president.

The president visited the Carter Presidential Library and Museum as his first stop for the day.

He later visited Ebenezer Baptist Church to pay homage to the Civil Rights struggle and emphasize how religion can be a force for good.
