Seasoned media personality and businesswoman Betty Kyallo officially made a TV comeback after 4 years.

The news anchor has put out her first statement alerting her fans that she is back at doing what she does best. She will be hosting a new show on TV47 dubbed ‘This Friday By Betty Kyallo’.

“After close to four years. I'm back. TV47 is now my home. I can't wait to see you my lovely audience. This is my favourite stage! Yaaaay! See you soo…,” she announced the news via her socials.

She added; "Hard to Forget, So this is a reminder. 😉😉 Happy to be back on air TV47 See you Soon. 🤩😘,".

Kyallo started off at KTN where she worked as an intern before being absorbed as a prime time news anchor where she aired the 9pm news on Fridays dubbed the Friday Briefing.

Later, she joined K24 where she aired the weekend 'Up Close with Betty' programme.

She quit K24 at the end of May, 2020, in the midist of the Covid-19 pandemic and started her own salon and spa business in Kilimani named Flair by Betty.

In mid-2021, Betty opened another beauty business - Aftershave by Flair Barbershop and Bk Closet.

On June 17, 2022, Showmax introduced Kyallo Kulture, a Kenyan reality series that revolved around Betty's lifestyle and that of her younger sisters, Mercy and Gloria.

Last month, Kyallo said rent had become a huge burden for her business resulting in her Flair by Betty salon being put on auction over rent arrears.

“Running a business in Kenya has become so difficult. Landlords don't want to reduce rent and it becomes a huge burden on businesses that are struggling because of the economic slowdown,” Kyalo said on her IG page.

In a public notice in the dailies, Keysian Auctioneers published items on the premises that were to be sold by public auction on April 17, 2024.

The items included three dismantled well shelves, a massage bed stand, two massage beds, a small serve rack, a glass shelf, four big mirrors, towel warmers and dressing tables.
