"I am a man" - Bobrisky tells judge

Famous crossdresser from Nigeria, Bobrisky, whose full name is Idris Okunyeye Olanrewaju, has confirmed that he is a male person in court.

Bobrisky, who appeared in court on Friday for the offense of tearing Naira notes at a nightclub while celebrating with fans, revealed this when the senior magistrate presiding over his case wanted to ascertain his gender.

Bobrisky was dressed in a black gown, wrapped and concealed like a woman.

He admitted that he is a man, surprising many who thought he would identify as a woman as he does on social media.

When Bobrisky, who calls himself the "Mummy of Lagos," was asked about his gender in court, he identified himself as a "man."

The judge said that sentencing Bobrisky to prison for financial misbehavior would serve as a deterrent to others engaged in similar acts of financial misconduct.

Recall that earlier we reported that he was sentenced to six months in prison without the option of paying a fine for the offense of publicly tearing and throwing Naira notes on the floor.

Bobrisky has been identifying as a woman after going through a series of surgeries, including breast augmentation, skin lightening, and buttock augmentation.
