Former official photographer of Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz, Lukamba, has broken his silence following threats to leak his nude videos.
On Friday, Tanzanian blogger Mange Kimambi, who currently resides in the United States, claimed to possess Lukamba's intimate videos and even shared a screenshot of a clip she claimed to have, threatening to expose them all through her app.
Responding, Lukamba, who left Wasafi in 2022, admitted that the man shown in the screenshot of the video shared on Instagram was indeed him inside a house where he used to live with his former partner.
However, he clarified that the videos are old and stated that he has already parted ways with the woman he was with.
"Asalaam alykum, first of all, I thank Allah for everything, whether good or bad. I have been receiving many phone calls and screenshots showing me in the room, which is the house where my ex and I used to live, and those clips or videos that my ex has are from the past," Lukamba said.
He added, "Breaking up with someone is not a war... there have been many lies circulating in society, and I have remained silent, but it is not enough; you have come with videos, saying Lukamba is rude, Lukamba has no respect for women. Even if you want to force stardom, this is too much ������ you have a son, remember you are a mother."
The photographer urged people to stop tarnishing his name and promised to tell the whole truth soon after Ramadan.
He also apologised to all those affected by the ongoing scandal.
"I ask you to let me complete my fasting in peace... I will speak the truth after Ramadan. I apologize to all those who have been affected by this scandal, which is just a temptation, my dear brothers and sisters, if people decide to do evil, they will not succeed, but let me remind you, I am not a coward ������ WE WILL FIGHT," he said.
Lukamba parted ways with Diamond Platnumz in the middle of 2022 and started his own company called Imagix Media.
The company deals with content related to videos - weddings, photo shoots, documentaries, and films.
