Reactions as veteran Nigerian actor seeks help

Veteran Nigerian actor and comedian Amaechi Muonagor is seeking for financial help to aid in his medical treatment.

The actor is seeking to undergo a kidney transplant.

In a video that has gone viral, the actor's friend Kingsley Orji explains that the actor has been experiencing kidney-related issues for months.

"It has not been easy. He has been in this condition for months now. He wants to go for a kidney transplant," said Orji

Adding "He just came back from the ICU... a couple of days ago. He was responding to treatment but not very well."

"We decided to bring him home because there was no money but it is not advisable. He barely talks well. Please, he needs your help."

The actor was seen in the hospital bed with a bandage on his chest. 

This comes when Nigerians are mourning the death of veteran actor Mr Ibu. In his last moments, Ibu was seen showering praises at PSquare singer Rudeboy.

"Rudeboy, I don’t know where to begin. But everything happens exactly on God’s own time. When the time comes, it has come," he said

Adding “Rudeboy, if you don’t make heaven, call me nama [meat]. You will go to heaven and we will sit in the presence of the angels and eat together."

“What people will be talking about today would be, ‘How come? But Ibu and P-Square, they are not the same parents.’ But I tell you, parents don come.”
