Actress Jackie Vike aka Awinja is the talk of the town following the success of her latest series dubbed Disco Matanga.
The former Papa Shirandula actress took the first on-ground premiere of the series to her home county – Vihiga and the turn-up was just amazing.
Awinja made history with the public viewing of the series as her local people turned up in numbers to enjoy the series and also accord her support.
A happy Awinja thanked everyone present at the public viewing of her latest Web series, saying it means a lot to see her whole village happy.

Comedian Eddie Butita who is part of the series also saluted Awinja for starting a new revolution as far as “Mashinani screening” is concerned.

Disco Matanga is a web series that revolves around Awinja and the death of her brother Izianunu. After dying under mysterious circumstances, burying the self-proclaimed M-Coasti proves to be harder than imagined. What follows is a series of unfortunate yet hilarious turn of events as Awinja and her family try to lay Izianunu to rest.
