Renowned entrepreneur and former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has responded to a woman from Murang'a County who tattooed his face on her leg.

This comes after a lady who identified herself as Mary Njoki made a video showcasing the tattoo of the politician's face on the upper part of her left thigh.

In the video circulated on social media, Ms. Njoki appealed to the former governor for help, mentioning that she is not in good financial condition.

"Hi Sonko, Mike Sonko, how are you? I am Mary Njoki from Murang'a. I am the one who tattooed you, and here it is on my leg. I am going through a lot of difficulties, and I just ask for your help. I have children who need care. I have no family, no parents. It's just the children, and I ask you to help me. Even if it's a job, I just ask for your help.

My children want to eat, drink, and I just ask for your help, even if it's just a job, I will be grateful to God," Ms. Njoki said.

Explaining the reason for getting the tattoo, she stated that Sonko's generosity impressed her, and she just wanted to surprise him.

"I just ask you, Mike Sonko, to help me. God will bless you. This is me, and this is the tattoo, the lady from Murang'a," she said.

Indeed, the video of the lady reached Mike Sonko, and the controversial politician responded on his X platform, expressing his intention to meet her.

In his response, the former Nairobi governor requested the public to help locate the lady and bring her to his office for a meeting.

"Poor thing, I have come across another video of the lady who tattooed me. Whoever knows her, bring her to my office; what job do you think I should give her?" Sonko wrote on Sunday evening.
