Popular content creator Oliech Jamjengo is dead

Digital content creator Oliech Jamjengo, a popular creator who launched his online TV in November 2023, died at the Kenyatta Hospital in Nairobi on 14th February.

According to a close source, Brenham MUGA William, Jamjengo had been battling a brain tumor. The diagnosis came days after the launch of Jamjengo TV.

Initially admitted to Jalaram Hospital in Kisumu. Jamjengo was later transferred to Kenyatta Hospital for further treatment

Who was Oliech?

Oliech Jamjengo, Born, Gordon Onyango Oliech, was a Luo digital content creator known for his hilarious videos on TikTok, where he impersonated famous media personalities. 

With his uncanny talent, Oliech had amassed thousands of fans on TikTok who loved his humor and creativity.

Oliech also had a passion for journalism and social issues. The content creator envisioned using his platform to discuss important topics and create original content that reflected his unique perspective.

Following his views of creating a platform that would address social issues Jamjengo created his online TV, Jamjengo TV in November 2023 where he planned to share original content that reflected his views. 

His abrupt death which was shared by Luo radio presenter Jiji Jabritish on Wednesday morning 14 February, came months after the launch of his new online tv has left many Kenyans especially his followers in deep sorrow. 

In the wake of his death tributes and condolences have flooded social media platforms as fans, friends and fellow content creators express their sadness.
