Businesswoman Mercy Kyallo is recounting a past incident where she found herself on the verge of legal trouble due to a misunderstanding involving her and a wanted fugitive.

The reality TV star revealed that she had been arrested by the DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investigations) but had never spoken about the incident until now.

Mercy shared the story of how she received money from someone wanted by the law, leading detectives to suspect her involvement or knowledge of the fugitive's whereabouts.

She clarified that the money she received was for something innocent, and she was unaware of the person being sought by detectives.

"I have been caught by the flying squad. Maybe it is the reason I'm here; I survived. The crazy thing is someone sent me money, and they were at large. They were being looked for and wanted," Mercy candidly narrated during a conversation with movie director and scriptwriter Phil Director.

The CEO of Yallo Leather added that the encounter was one of the most memorable moments of her life, as nothing that intense had ever happened to her before. She underwent 24 hours of interrogation.

Mercy described the intense questioning, being confined in a car by the Flying Squad, demanding answers about the fugitive they were pursuing.

"They sent me the money so innocently, it was for something super innocent. The flying squad got to know where the money was going, and they came for me.

For 24 hours, I did not leave that car until I gave some answers. That's the craziest story of my life," Mercy recalled.

She emphasized the craziness of the situation, with detectives playing mind games and not allowing her to leave without providing answers.

"I was in the investigation room. I was asked questions, 'where are they?'. And you know these guys, they change their temperaments. Sometimes, he's doing good cop bad cop, the same guy.

Never get into those investigations. I didn't know anything, but I left there as if I had given all the information. It's a strange story for me," Mercy shared.

Betty's younger sister noted that it reached a point where she had to assert herself and stand up for herself, ultimately helping her navigate the situation.

"For the first time, I had to stand up for myself in a very crazy way. I got to experience something that was off the movie," the Yallo CEO told Phil.
