KPLC: These 7 counties will have power interruptions today

The interruptions are normally done for maintenance of the power grid

Electricity distribution company (KPLC) has issued a warning about power interruptions in several areas of the country on Tuesday, February 6.

In a statement on Monday evening, the company announced that some areas in seven counties of Kenya will experience a power outage between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

The affected counties include Nairobi, Machakos, Kajiado, Makueni, Uasin Gishu, Kilifi, and Mombasa.

Certain sections of the Outering road and the Donholm Phase 8 area in Nairobi county will experience a power outage between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

In Machakos county, various parts of Matuu, Sofia, Kyumbi, and Kitui Road will be affected by a power outage between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

At the same time, some areas in Emali Ukia Road and Kaumoni in Makueni county will also experience a power outage.

Several parts of Kajiado, including Kisaju and Isinya, will be affected by a power outage between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

In Uasin Gishu county, sections of Burnt Forest and Kondoo areas will experience a power outage between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Certain areas in Kasufini and Mkoamoto in Uasin Gishu county will be affected by a power outage between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Several parts of Utange area in Mombasa county will experience a power outage between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
