With about two weeks remaining towards the end of January – a month often considered long and challenging for many, many are anticipating their salaries.

Already, one pastor has begun calculating the salaries of his believers.

A video that has angered many online shows a pastor from Nigeria challenging members of his church to deposit their entire January salaries into his account.

In the widely circulated video, Pastor John Anoskie tells the members of his church to pay their first fruits of the year, known as their January salaries, into his account.

According to him, the money is for him and not for the church, adding that they should ensure they send it because they will witness miracles soon.

In his words, "I want to challenge you by the Spirit of God, I'm not afraid of anyone or blame, if you call me your spiritual father, your salary for this month, it's for me, not for the church, it's for this. to change, the word, is for my well-being."

Speaking further, the pastor said that if members of the church obey him by respecting him with their January salaries, they will see significant changes in their lives by the middle of this year.

He continues to say that if they cannot witness or see any significant changes in their lives, they should come back, and he will refund their money.

In what appears to be a threat, the pastor concluded that if the members of the church considered him their father, pastor, counselor, and if they had sons and daughters in the church, they should make sure to send money to his account.

This aligns with a recent video of Pastor Victor Kanyari, who also ridiculed believers who had the habit of approaching him with empty hands.

In Kanyari's video, he scolded believers who considered him their spiritual father but would come to him with empty hands or with only 200 to 500 shillings, an amount that he deemed entirely inadequate.

He stated that he would start expelling from the church believers who approached him without carrying food items such as sugar, vegetables, and others.
