Manchester City's star striker, Erling Haaland, is delighted to see Jadon Sancho end his Manchester United campaign by returning to Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho joined United in 2021 following a £73 million deal with Dortmund where he enjoyed four years but failed to replicate his good performances at Old Trafford.

The winger managed just 12 goals and 6 assists in 82 games for the Red Devils until he fell out with manager Erik ten Hag in September and was dropped from the first team.

The England international then hit back on social media claiming he had been turned into a "blame bearer" by the Dutch professional.

The 23-year-old could not find his way back into the first team and that led to a return to Dortmund on loan.

Former Dortmund star Haaland was very happy to see Sancho return to his old stadium where he will have the opportunity to rediscover his old form.

The star striker spent a year in Germany playing with the United star, who scored 50 goals and provided 64 assists in 137 games he played.

And the Norwegian international player celebrated the move by using social networks and shared a photo of Sancho wearing the Dortmund shirt again.

Haaland gave the following description on Instagram: "shirtless."
