Daddy Owen finally unleashes photos of Charlene Ruto visiting his mother in Kakamega

Gospel singer Owen Mwatia aka Daddy Owen has finally unleashed photos of President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto visiting his mother in Kakamega.

A few days ago reports went viral that Charlene had visited Owen’s mother but the star remained mum about the whole subject.

However, on January 2, 2024, Owen shared several photos from Charlene’s visit to Eshieywe while giving his 2023 highlights.

“2023 was a good year! I thank GOD! I had so many highlights, but the climax, the pinnacle, and the crowning moment came at the tail end of the year when Charlene Ruto visited my home in Eshieywe a.k.a Kakamega,” Daddy Owen shared.

The Award-winning singer went on to give days of how that particular day went down.

“We celebrated with songs, dance, and ululations! Abhashiere came with their best dancing shoes to whirl to the real Isikuti made from the tough "imbulu" skin!," he added. 

In his statement, Owen also mentioned the traditional dishes Charlene and other guests ate when they visited their home.

“We ate various Abhatsotso tradition delicacies from "amakwakwata" to "lhisebhebhe",” Owen noted.

According to Daddy Owen, his mother was happy to see the President’s daughter as she loves and adores visitors.

“Ebhusang'ang'a village was happy, my mum was happy, she loves guests…and the guests were happy as well! so.. Happy 2024 to y'all,” Daddy Owen finalized his statement.

Daddy Owen Relationship with Charlene Ruto

A few weeks ago Owen was again forced to explain the nature of their relationship with Charlene after they were spotted together severally.

The singer sounded very shocked after being romantically linked to the president's daughter and made it clear that they are just good friends.

He also mentioned that he has been working with Charlene on different projects aimed at empowering the community.

"In addition to being just friends, we work together. There are many projects we do together," he said.
