President William Ruto's daughter Charlene has not been left out of the recent Christmas celebrations.

As millions of people celebrated Christmas on Monday, Charlene made the decision to board an arbitrary Matatu and distribute vouchers.

The first daughter is shown getting into a pimped-out Matatu in a video that was uploaded to her X (formerly Twitter) account. She is clothed in traditional Muslim garb, including an abaya and a headscarf.

"For Christmas, we entered random Nganya (Matatu) to bless people with shopping vouchers," the video's caption reads.

Not long later, she begins distributing coupons with the help of a man who is with her.

You can hear Charlene saying how amazed she is at how many young people there are in the vehicles.

"So 70 per cent of the people in the Matatu are young. Tumepatana na students, watu wanahustle so we've recorded," she is saying.

She said she had enjoyed her day and realised that many young people are headed for success.

After the President gave gifts to residents at his Sugoi house in Uasin Gishu County, Charlene becomes the third member of the Ruto family to embrace the spirit of Christmas giving.

On Friday, Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto welcomed locals to their rural house in a joyous show of friendship.

Happy residents formed long lines to get packages containing rice, cooking oil, and wheat flour.

At the State House, the two also hosted a children's Christmas celebration.

As they demonstrated their skills, they were treated to music.
