What happens when an immovable rock meets an unstoppable force? You get Esther Akoth aka Akothee vs Pilot Nyako.
This week, musician Akothee and one of TikTok's most famous personalities, Pilot Nyako are having what seems to be the tiff of the century over who holds the title of the “Greatest of All Time” (GOAT) on TikTok.
So how did it start exactly?
It all began when Akothee stated (without mentioning anyone's name) that a certain person was her copycat and not a brand the way the musician is.
Pilot who has been involved in some public wars online saw the message as a slight and posted a video calling out Akothee and saying that they should engage in mano a mano verbal fight to see who would emerge victorious.
This she said was based on the claim that the mom of 5 had been subliminally attacking her.
“I was scrolling, and from the videos, you can tell that I am being addressed directly or indirectly in those videos.
The president of single mothers (Akothee). I am the president of TikTok. Come with a little respect here in TikTok. We know you are the madam money. You marry even an old Mzungu; you don’t care. Come slowly. You are the brand, yes, but not on TikTok. TikTok belongs to hustlers, not to the braggarts. You don’t have money. TikTok has its owners. You won’t succeed here. Come slow,” Pilot claimed.
That wasn't all, the lady who currently resides in Germany said that her large subscriber count on TikTok shames the singer who can't compete.
“When it comes to insults, I am the house of insults. I can insult you until when you wake up, you cannot find anything in your head."
And you know for sure that Madam Boss wasn't going to let the accusations slide and promptly reacted by warning the influential TikToker that if she kept mentioning her name she would expose her.
“I will insult you with true things. Actually, it is Akothee’s name to pay your bills. You do not have content to talk to your fans about? What did you come to do on TikTok? I am the GOAT; I do not need anyone’s name for clout."
How this ends is anyone's guess. But I don't see either giving an inch based on their previous actions.
