In the morning conversation at Classic 105, Kenya's most loved radio presenter Maina Kageni had an exciting conversation revolving around children staying home for a good two months.

The day's question was' What will you do with your children now that schools have closed for a good two months?'

The morning conversation was inspired by a lady who told Maina that she was depressed and stressed now that her children were back home.

Maina was surprised that the lady didn't want her kids back yet they had been away for a long time.

He asked his loyal listeners to tell him how they were feeling now that they were at home and what plans they had for their children.

Callers were quick to call and share their views and this is what some of them had to say.

The first caller said;

"Maina hawa watu waende ushago. unajua wakiwa shule wanakula chakula ya Sakaja ya 5bob kila siku na wanshiba wakikuwa home as of sai washamaliza hii mkate kubwa ya 130 shillings heri waende ushago wakakimbizane na shosho yao wakiskia njaa watapata nduma na ngwashe zimechemshwa watakula. Heri wabakie huko wataeza kukula wakishinda huku watakufa na njaa."

 The next caller added;

"Mimi siezi wapeleka ushago mama yangu anaishi town kwa rental siezi mpelekea watakula nini? Naona ni vizuri nibakie nao tujibangaize tu nipike ugali mingi sapa ndio wakula nayo breakfast, lunch na supper tutainama. Nikona watoto watatu mmoja 11, mwingine 6 the last born ako 2 tutangangana for hizi two months tu we have to survive."

 Another said;

"I am a mother of 4, a 12, 8,6 and 3-year-old. They have been home for one week and I am already feeling the pinch I can't even take them to their grandparent's house huko ni kubaya sai na my three-year-old hataki kabisa yeye hulilia kwa malango inabidii nirudi na yeye, they can only stay there if I am there. Every year I normally take them for a holiday in Novemeber this year nimejaribu kubangaiza lakini imekata and my 6 year old is not understanding that ananiamba mum umekuwa ukifanya kazi since January pesa imeenda wapi, sai as we speak naenda kwa shop ya wholesale nijaribu kununua vitu mbili tatu tubangaize nazo."

Others decided to tweet their view and this is what they had to say regarding the topic.

@NicholasObuche4-Maina hawa watoto wa high school wanakula one kg of unga ten minutes

@franciskuria43-My problem with kids is that they areover-demandingg. They are so noisy all-day

@mosesmurokh-Noma sana...hapo tu destination ni shags wakasalimiane na their extended family members huko...ama watajuana kivipi

@BmMariaria-How do you budget for what you don't have? Niliambia watu turudi ushagoo. Tulime vyakula tutoke town. Managing kids in Nairobi with low income is a disaster. Waende ushagoo wakalime

@ochauro-The budget will be higher, but it's my responsibility @ItsMainaKageni to be with my kids, if they want to visit shags, nitaenda na wao a few days na nirudi nao.

@Mufalume1-Nataka kuletewa wangu Ule kiherehere mwezi Moja alafu arudi ushago bundle ya unga na gunia ya Michele ndio nimenunua

@Solderwamundoro-Those who are complaining are those who like dundaa and aluta, they don't want something to hinder them,watajua hawajui sasa
