Why Diamond Platnumz has been hospitalized

Fans are wishing Diamond Platnumz a speedy recovery after he revealed he has been hospitalized. In a note, he told of a situation that resulted in him being admitted,

"Siku yangu ya leo ilianza vibaya Arush. Homa kali iliyopelekea hadi kulazwa kwa muda."

He also shared a picture laying on a hospital bed in distress. He was being attended to by a medical expert. 

"Namshukuru Mwenyez mungu kwa sasa naendelea vyema naendelea kkupta anguvu."

He did not further elaborate only saying he looks forward to once again joining in the festivities at the ongoing Wasafi Festival.

Elsewhere Sauti Sol performed at the Wasafi Festival. Fans were thrilled when the boyband brought out Coast singer Amani Mbaya. The Wasafi Festival 2023 is being held at Eden Garden in Arusha.

Later this month, Diamond will be in Rwanda for the Trace Music Awards. He will be accompanied by Zuchu and Juma Jux, where many African artists will perform as others are awarded in the 26 categories they have been nominated in.

Kenyan gospel artists Janet Otieno and Nadia Mukami will be representing the nation. The event goes down at the BK arena, in the Rwandan Capital of Kigali on 21 October.
