Vera Sidika forced to address claims new lover Gideon Brown is gay

Just a few hours after revealing her current bae, Gideon Brown, Kenyan celebrity Vera Sidika has had to respond to claims that the Jamaican model and dancer is gay.

Vera revealed the identity and Instagram account of her boyfriend on Wednesday evening and excited Kenyans took to the model's page and raised allegations that he might be gay.

While responding to the accusations leveled against the man, the socialite said that not all male models are gay and warned people against jumping to conclusions. 

"You all understand that not all male models are LGBTQ, right? Why are people jumping to conclusions I wonder?" Vera said through her Instagram page.

The socialite's statement followed many claims raised by Kenyan netizens who came across Mr Brown's controversial photos and videos.

Vera introduced the Jamaican model as her new boyfriend to her fans online on Wednesday evening when she posted a picture of him and attached a message assuring him that she loves him very much.

"I love you forever baby!! @itsgbrown,” Vera wrote.

Brown reposted the Kenyan socialite's post and also confessed his love for her, "I love you dear."

This comes just about a month and a half after singer Brown Mauzo announced his separation from the mother of his two children.

At the end of August, Mauzo announced that he and Vera had agreed to go their separate ways for the benefit of themselves and their children.

"Dear friends and followers, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much thought, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways.

Our journey together has been full of unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point that is best for us and our children, Asia Brown and Ice Brown , moving forward differently,”Mauzo announced Wednesday.

He thanked everyone who has been a part of their relationship that they have been proud of and showing it on social media.
