Nigerian singer Wizkid loses his mother

Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid and his family are in mourning following the untimely death of his mother, Jane Balogun.
Balogun’s death was confirmed by the artiste’s manager, Sunday Aare, who said Wizkid’s mother died in the early hours of Friday at 1.30 am.
The late Mrs. Balogun was a strong supporter of her son's flourishing music career.
Meanwhile, the singer's fans have begun sharing sincere tributes online.
However, despite the confirmation from the manager, Wizkid and his baby mama Jada who also doubles up as his second manager are yet to issue a statement on the same.
