A taxi driver was discovered deceased inside of his parked vehicle at a petrol station in Hurlingham, Nairobi.

Long after John Kyalo, 30, had passed away, his body was discovered in his salon automobile at the petrol station.

Security at the station allegedly called the police and reported that a driver was found unresponsive in his vehicle.

Guards reported to police After arriving there on Saturday night at midnight, Kyalo entered a store at the station and purchased a packet of milk and an upset stomach remedy.

Additionally, he had asked if the station's pharmacist was open at that time but had been told it was closed.

He then reentered the vehicle and sat down, unable to awaken until he was discovered dead many hours later.

The man was discovered on the driver's seat, according to Moss Ndiwa, the chief of Kilimani police, and the cause of death has not yet been determined.

"We don't want to speculate for now. Let us wait for a report from the autopsy to state what caused the death," he said.

The corpse was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy and additional investigation.

Police are also looking into another incident when a mason died after falling from a construction site.

Godfrey Ongoma, 36, is said to have slipped and fallen from the 14th storey of a building in Eastleigh, Nairobi, according to the police.

On Saturday afternoon, he was one of the employees on duty at the location.

He allegedly fell to the ground floor while trying to draw a machine that was elevating construction materials there, landing on his head, according to witnesses.

In anticipation of an autopsy and other procedures, the body was sent to the mortuary.
