Interesting reactions to Brian Chira's arrest after attacking Azziad Nasenya

Brian Chira, a Tiktoker, was apprehended on July 28 on suspicion of defaming Azziad Nasenya, a day after he claimed he had been assaulted by unidentified individuals.

He was taken into custody at the Wilson Airport Police Station in Nairobi after being nabbed in Nakuru.

In a brief video from SPM Buzz, the Tiktoker exits a car and enters the station, where he engages in conversation with authorities.

Shortly, he is heard telling someone on a phone call that; "I insulted her. So she reported. Talk to the officers and then they can explain. All I was requesting is for you to help",.

Mungai Eve interviewed Gertrude, the Lawyer representing Azziad, who announced that her team is not happy.

"Sometime last week Chira went live on tiktok, and the topic was Azziad. He uttered some words, very defamatory. He also went ahead and gave her a number. My client was being buzzed with a lot of calls and messages some of which are insults because of that. My client was not happy," she said about the legal matter.

The lawyer cited the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crime Act.
